Synergist Network and Three Cairns Group are pleased to invite you to the 2021 Women in Private Equity Boot Camp, a technical training and skills-building workshop that helps participants prepare for the private equity recruiting process. This training, which will be held over a series of Zoom meetings, is open to people who are recruiting this cycle as well as those who are thinking about recruiting at some point in the future. The program will run from 10 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 18, and will include the three sessions described below. A detailed agenda with times for each session will be sent before the event.

Sessions on Saturday, September 18

Interview tips and tactical advice for navigating recruitment: A panel discussion featuring recruiting professionals and women who have recently completed the process. This session will feature a wide-ranging discussion and will be relevant for people who plan to recruit in the near future or are considering a career in private investing at some point.

Technical skills workshop presented by Training the Street: Led by expert instructors from Training the Street emphasizing quantitative skills (LBO modeling and case study preparation) and practical insights on navigating the recruiting process and shaping your narrative for the interview. This session is designed specifically for people who plan to recruit in the coming months and have some background in banking, investing, or consulting.

Fireside chat: Senior leaders provide context for the importance of technical modeling, share insights from their careers, and talk about why PE is an exciting career path. This session is for anyone interested in what a career in investing could look like over the long term.

There is no cost to participate. The event is sponsored by Three Cairns Group and is organized in collaboration with several nonprofits, academic institutions, and private equity and consulting firms. Members of the Synergist Network, a nonprofit supporting women in private equity, are advising on and participating in the event. This is the fourth annual private equity recruiting boot camp and one of a series of events held throughout the year to advance gender diversity in the industry.
