Deborah Lim, Co-President
Deborah currently works as an Associate at TPG Capital on the Software and Enterprise Technology team. Prior to joining TPG, she was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Media and Communications group at J.P. Morgan in New York, and graduated from UCLA in 2020. In her spare time, Deborah enjoys baking, reading, long distance running, and skiing.
Lin Zhu, Co-President
Lin is an Associate at CapitalG, Alphabet's independent growth equity fund, where she focuses on software and fintech investments. Prior to joining CapitalG, Lin was an Analyst on the TMT Investment Banking team at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco. Lin graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Computer Science. In her free time, Lin enjoys cooking for friends, painting, volunteering in the community, and distance racing.
Hatty Wang, CFO
Hatty is an associate at Permira focused on buyout and growth investments in technology. Previously, she was at Evercore in New York, and graduated MIT double majoring in Computer Science & Engineering and Mathematics. Born and raised in Beijing, China, she's fluent in Mandarin and speaks conversational French / Franglais. In her free time, she's passionate about furthering educational access, quantum computing, farmers' markets & other people's dogs.
Kathlen Cai, VP Sponsorship
Kathleen is currently a senior associate at GI Partners in San Francisco where she focuses on real estate investments. Prior to joining GI, Kathleen worked as an investment banking analyst in the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging group at Citi in New York. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019, where she majored in accounting and finance and minored in Spanish. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys traveling, dancing, checking out museums, and anything outdoors.
Shatakshi Mohan, VP Mentorship
Prior to joining Sapphire Ventures, Shatakshi was a part of the Technology Investment Banking group at Jefferies and worked on several M&A, equity and debt transactions across software, internet and semiconductors. Shatakshi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a William F. Sharpe fellow and a Chancellor’s Service Award recipient. She is a trained classical dancer and in her spare time, enjoys hiking, traveling, being engrossed in a good read and trying new restaurants.
Genna Abele
Genna is an Associate at Elliott Management where she focuses on private investments in software and technology. Prior to joining Elliott, she worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in Los Angeles. She graduated from Yale in 2019 with a B.A. in Global Affairs. In her free time, Genna enjoys traveling, swimming, concerts, and exploring SF.
Misako Benso
Misako is a private equity associate at TPG, and formerly an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in NYC. Previously, she worked at the Capital Group, a $2 trillion investment manager, in an investment associate role. She graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and triple minor in Chinese language, Engineering Management Systems and Finance.

Caoimhe MacRunnels
Caoimhe is a Senior Associate at Reach Capital where she focuses on venture investments in education and future of work technology. Prior to joining Reach, she worked as a growth equity Associate at Adams Street Partners and a investment banking Analyst in the TMT group at Bank of America. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2019 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. In her spare time, Caoimhe enjoys group workout classes, a wide range of podcasts, good wine bars, and ski season trips to Tahoe.
Caroline Newman
Caroline is as an Associate at Silver Lake where she focuses on tech and tech-enabled investments. Prior to joining Silver Lake, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at Goldman Sachs in New York. Originally from the Bay Area, Caroline graduated from UC Berkeley, where she received a B.A. in Honors Economics. Caroline enjoys traveling, running and exploring new coffee spots.

Jennifer graduated from UCLA in 2020 with a B.A. in Business Economics and International Development Studies. Yobo Bello-Asemota
Yobo currently works as an investor at ValueAct Capital, an activist hedge fund in San Francisco. Prior to joining ValueAct, she worked as an Associate at EQT as part of the Infrastructure Private Equity team and as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare group at Morgan Stanley, both in New York. She graduated from Columbia University in 2019 with a double B.A. in Economics-Philosophy and Hispanic Studies with honors. She was a Kluge Scholar and for the 2017-2018 academic year was also the sole recipient of the Columbia College Young Alumni Scholarship.
In her spare time, Yobo serves as Development Chair on the Board of Directors of Columbia College Women, Chair of the Columbia College Class of 2019 5th Reunion, and is a member of the San Francisco Choral Society. A committed supporter of the arts and education, she is also a member of Orpheus and Bravo Club at the San Francisco Opera as well as Columbia’s Young Leaders Council.

Rebecca Chen
Rebecca is an analyst at Verso Partners, a L/S equities fund based in San Francisco where she focuses on investing in public equities across all sectors. She started her career as an investment banking analyst in Goldman's TMT group. She graduated from Harvard University in 2020, where she studied economics and computer science. In addition to stocks and food, Rebecca is passionate about uplifting and supporting queer identities. Outside of work, she can be found climbing, snowboarding and absolutely dominating the pickleball courts.

Mahek is an investor within Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs, where she focuses in Enterprise Software. Mahek began her career in the Industrials Investment Banking group at Goldman in New York prior to relocating to San Francisco in 2022. She studied Economics, Computer Science, and Healthcare Policy at Vanderbilt University.
